Nestes últimos meses tenho-me apercebido [com tristeza] de pessoas [das minhas relações] que, tendo vivido o 25 de abril, não o fizeram! E das que, se o tivessem vivido, não o teriam feito.
Tive sempre a ideia idílica que há 38 anos atrás o povo se uniu para não se deixar vencer. Mas apercebo-me agora que, apesar de todos cantarem, ou, pelo menos, viveram a vitória, nem todos lutaram por ela.
